Terms & conditions stated below apply to reservations and bookings made on www.mercielretreatandresort.com.
The conditions of sale for the rate reserved specify the terms for cancelling and/or changing the reservation. Please refer to your confirmation details as to the cancellation period that applies to your reservation.
Prepayment Policy:
The credit/debit card you provided at the time of reservation is charged the total cost for your entire stay at the time of reservation or booking. Rates/prices and room availability are not guaranteed until full payment is received. Reservations without prepayment may be automatically released by hotel without prior notice. Reservation prepayments are non-refundable. Travel Insurance is recommended.
Please contact in-house reservations at [email protected] should you like to pay for someone else’s room but will not be staying at our resort.
Rates
5% government tax and 10% service charge will be added to the displayed rates at the final payment process. Taxes are subject to change without prior notice.
The rates are accessible to the public and available for reservation; expressly excluded are: group rates, corporate rates and rates granted to meeting organizers.
Policy:
Reservation prepayments are non-refundable & no amendment. In the event of a cancellation, your reservation prepayment will be forfeited. Travel Insurance is recommended.
No-show Policy:
Your reservation prepayment will be forfeited as we held your room for you the entire stay waiting for you which we could have otherwise sold to another guest.
Other Terms & Conditions:
The credit/debit card you used to make your reservation prepayment must be presented upon check in along with a matching name valid travel passport. The hotel will NOT be responsible for debit card overdraft fees. If you wish to book multiple rooms, you must use a different name for each room or the duplicate reservation MAY be cancelled by the hotel without prior notice. Please keep your confirmation number for future reference and check in.
Arrival / Departure
Check In: 2:00 PM
Check Out: 12:00 PM
Check In:
Our official guaranteed check in time is 2 PM, however if we have your room available and ready earlier, you may request an early check in. This request is subject to availability upon arrival.
Check Out:
Our official check out time is 12 PM, however you may request a later check out time. A half day room charge will be imposed for late check out between 12 PM – 6 PM. Unless stated otherwise, guests must vacate their room at standard check out time on the final day of their stay. Failing this will result a charge for an additional night.
If the stay is terminated early, the full agreed price for the entire stay will be paid. No refund will be made for this reason for any reservation under prepayment terms.
Reservations Made on 3rd Party Online Travel Agent (OTA) or Travel Agent
Reservations and bookings made on a 3rd party (OTA) website or with your travel agent are subject to the terms and conditions of the 3rd party (OTA) website or your travel agent, which may be different than the policies stated above on hotel’s official website.
Reservations and bookings made on a 3rd party (OTA) website or with your travel agent can only be cancelled or changed on the 3rd party (OTA) website or with your travel agent, which made the original reservation or booking with the hotel.
It is contractually restricted from cancelling or changing reservations and bookings made with a 3rd party (OTA) website or with your travel agent. We are also contractually restricted from waiving or refunding any penalty or service charges or any other fees you incurred with a 3rd party (OTA) website or with your travel agent. Travel Insurance is recommended.
Pet Policy
We are sorry that no pets are permitted at our resort.
Baby Cot
Baby cots are available upon request and subject to availability.
Child Policy
FOC for children under 5 years old sharing existing bedding with parents.
Room will be complimentary for children between 5 – 8 years old sharing existing bedding with the parents and $10 per head is applicable for daily breakfast.
Extra bed is required for children 8 years old and above.
Room Capacity
We strictly observe a room capacity policy which:
Junior Deluxe (maximum 3 adults including 1 extra bed)
Executive Deluxe (maximum 3 adults including 1 extra bed)
Merciel Room (maximum 3 adults including 1 extra bed)
Privacy Protection
We respect your privacy and will only collect personal data that is necessary for reservation processing. Only authorized staff has access to your personal data. Entry of the payment details and acceptance of the terms & conditions during the reservation process is equivalent to a physical signature between the parties. The guest is informed that his/her IP address is recorded at the time of the reservation.
Force Majeure
We cannot be held responsible to the guests if it fails to carry out its obligations as a result of force majeure (delay/cancellation of domestic flights, acts of government authorities, acts of terrorism, disaster, declared war, strikes, severe weather conditions, fires, etc.)
Copyrights
Our (a) site content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio/video clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software used to operate the site, and all compilations of any of the above, and (b) software available for download on this site, are our property, or the property of our content suppliers and vendors, and are protected by international copyright laws. You may use this site’s content and downloadable software only as resources for your travel needs, and not for any other use (direct or indirect). Prohibited uses include but are not limited to displaying, distributing, modifying, reproducing, republishing, decompiling, or transmitting any content on this site or the software available for download on this site in any manner without written permission from us.
